Welcome to the new HOLLENTHON website.
After two critically acclaimed albums - "Domus Mundi" (1999) and "With Vilest Of Worms To Dwell" (2001) - the Austrian Symphonic Extreme Metal outfit HOLLENTHON sets the release of their new album for the spring of 2008. The album entitled "Opus Magnum" will be the third release via the Austrian record label Napalm Records and features eight songs plus a cover version and video. Some of the song titles revealed thus far include "Son of Perdition" and "On the Wings of a Dove". Stay tuned for more information!
Having endured a three-year performance break, HOLLENTHON returned to the stages in 2007. So far, the newly completed line-up has performed in Vienna and at the Arnhem Metal Meeting in Holland. Check out the pics section for impressions of these shows. Upcoming shows are scheduled in Latvia, Germany, and Belgium, as well as at various summer festivals including Graspop in Belgium with IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST headlining.
